Join us for a seminar focused on growing cold-hardy,

high-altitude grapes in North Carolina! 


Topics will include farming methods for steep slopes, native and

cold-hardy grape varieties, and sustainable farming practices.

Featured presenters

Charlie Caldwell is the owner of Black Squirrel Vineyard & Winery in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and has been growing native American and French-American hybrid grapes organically for 10 years.

Cluck Blethen is owner of Jewel of the Blue Ridge Consulting and the Executive Driector of the Sustainable Appalachian Viticulture Institure (SAVI).

Hannah Burrack is an assistant professor and extension specialist in the Department of Entomolgy at NC State University, where she conducts research and extension projects on small fruits, specialty crops, and tobacco.
